Polka Dots Child Care Center offers a nurturing and stimulating place for children to feel secure as they explore their ever-changing world. We offer your child the tools to be successful and support their curiosity through a developmental learning approach.
Our center is located on a residential street in the town of Stratham, NH in a home setting. It is a warm and inviting place for children that offers security. Our teaching staff have been carefully chosen to provide a loving environment while offering activities to help your child blossom.
We have an open-door policy with our parents and encourage daily communication with our staff. Working together we can help to assure that your children are happy and you can feel confident leaving them in our care.
Meet Our Staff
Lisa Sargent Owner/Director
Kid Dots Lead Teacher
Lisa has over 12+ years of early childhood experience. She is CPR/First Aid certified and holds her Lead Teacher 4 and Early Childhood Administrator credentials from the State of NH. Lisa and her husband have lived in NH for 26 years. Their daughter is enjoying college and is pursuing a bachelor's degree. They share their home with 3 cocker spaniels who keep them laughing. She enjoys spending family time camping in Bar Harbor. Lisa is truly excited to operate Polka Dots Child Care Center in your neighborhood and is dedicated to providing your child with top-notch child care with a difference.

Kristin Smalley
Tot Dots Teacher
Kristin recently finished her degree in Early Childhood Education at Plymouth State University. She is CPR/First Aid certified. She has been working in this field for 3 years and is looking forward to many more years of watching children grow. Kristin loves spending time outside when it’s warm and believes that it’s an important part of the children’s day. She also believes the best way for a child to learn is in a hands-on environment where they can explore and learn at their own pace. Kristin enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her free time as well as watching her brother play hockey and soccer. In the winter you’ll most likely find her in an ice rink watching her brother or UNH hockey.
Suzanna Wade
Junior Dots Teacher
Suzy has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education as well as experience working in childcare since June of 2007.She is also certified in CPR/First Aid. She enjoys listening to music as well as spending time with family and friends. She believes creating a patient, caring, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment for children is necessary in order to encourage children's growth for the most learning opportunities.
Christyn Surprenant
Floating/Closing Teacher
Christyn graduated from the University of New Hampshire with her Master’s degree in Education, and has also received her CPR/AED certification. She believes that using hands-on approaches to teaching gives children the best opportunities for learning. Christyn loves spending time with her friends and their children, as well as being outside either camping, swimming or just relaxing, as much as possible.
